Wang Lun invited him under the pretense of 'ten miles of peach blossoms' and 'ten thousand taverns', which turned out to be a pool name and a tavern owner's surname. As Li Bai was about to leave, Wang Lun sang and stamped farewell, moving Li Bai to improvise this poem.
