移舟泊烟渚
日暮客愁新
野旷天低树

My boat is moored by a misty islet near the shore,
At dusk the traveler's grief is refreshed once more.
The fields are vast; the sky bends low over the trees,
The river is clear; the moon seems close to me with ease.

移舟泊烟渚

江清：江水清澈；月近人：月亮的倒影在水中，仿佛与人亲近。清澈江水中的月影伴随着孤独的旅人，带来片刻慰藉，也是一种以景写情的手法。

Meng Haoran spent much of his life in seclusion or wandering. This poem was likely written in his later years when he left Luoyang and traveled eastward down the river. At dusk, he moored his boat by the Jiande River and, facing the vast fields, the setting sun, and the clear moonlit water, was moved by the sorrow of wandering. This five-character quatrain depicts the night scene on the river and conveys the poet's solitude and faint homesickness during his travels.
