天街小雨润如酥
草色遥看近却无
最是一年春好处
绝胜烟柳满皇都
On royal street, the fine rain falls like butter's cream;
Grass green is seen far off, but near no green to beam.
This is the best of all spring times, the prime of spring, it seems;
Far better than mist-veiled willows that in the capital teem.
